The successful person will have a strong background in Data Management and providing Management Information and will have ideally had some experience in the Food and Beverage Industry or FMCG.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Analyst who is looking for a new exciting challenge with plenty of headroom to develop their career.

The key purpose of the role is to manage and provide high quality analysis and reports in a timely manner for our clients and provide peer level support to the Purchasing Analysts.

Procurement Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager to head up the supplier relationships across all food and beverage categories, managing and negotiating market leading deals with our suppliers.  This opportunity is a permanent role and has headroom to develop further within the business.

What will the role require you to do?

  • Accountability for supplier relationships, negotiating and delivering market leading commercial deals for our clients
  • Take accountability for client projects, ensuring the scope, deliverables, project plan and risks are managed to ensure timely delivery of work;
  • Work with the client stakeholders (typically up to C-level) to ensure agreed business and procurement requirements and objectives are met;
  • Work closely with the operations team consisting of buyers and analysts to support the delivery of projects
  • Ensure strong communication both internally and externally with the client and Suppliers
  • Develop and coach members of the buying team

You will need to have the following essential experience and skills:

  • Experience in procurement and category management roles within the food industry;
  • Previous experience of excellent stakeholder management at a senior level up to CEO;
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of complex supply chain models ideally within the foodservice industry;
  • Experience of managing and leading projects and project teams through to completion;
  • Excellent level of IT competence including Microsoft Windows Software such as Excel;
  • High level of numeracy and an analytical approach;

Business Development Manager

We are a specialist provider of procurement services to the Food & Beverage/Hospitality sector.  We have a fast growing and exciting new arm to our business providing SMEs with a procurement service that delivers improvement to their profitability.

We have a clear ambition to build and grow this part of our business at pace and have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our sales team to identify potential clients, manage the sales process and convert new leads into clients!

The successful candidate will have the ability to create new relationships and have proven experience of engaging and influencing C-Level stakeholders and decision makers. This is a key role in our business and is pivotal role in helping us grow this arm of the business.  It is a full-time role (40 hours per week Monday to Friday) with travel throughout the UK required.
